Consideration of movement type 851 in STO in MB5T

Hi,

We have Stock Transport Order from a plant to other using delivery and TD shipment process. In delivery confirmartion (O4H1), we book loss of some qty. This triggered movement type 851 alongwith 101.

The quantity booked as loss remains open in MB5T transaction. This is not acceptable by the client as loss for the same has been already booked.

Please suggest if same can be achieved using transaction MB5T.

Regards,

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

I didnt fully understand when you refered quantity booked as loss remains open. can you please elaborate. 851 movement refers to GI scrapping which is in transit. MB5T transaction is used to view stock in transit. since there is a loss durings goods movement, as per standard system, the loss is accrued to the issuing plant as in transit loss.

Dear Ashok.

Kindly also mention the following:-

Are the respective line items generated with tracking records?  If so, do the tracking numbers close on complete delivery when a difference in transit is being booked?

Further, do the entries so posted appear as part of purchase order history of the respective line item?
