Hi
We have confgiured SSO between SAP Portal 7.3 and ECC backend server. We exported the certificate from Portal and improted in ECC server. SSO is working fine for us.
Now we have been asked to configure SSL between SAP Portal and ECC backend server (in same servers where we had implemented SSO).
Question:
1. As per my understanding for SSL, we need to export the certificate from SAP Portal and send it to CA and then import the signed
certificate to ECC backend server. Does it mean that we need two different certificate, one for SSL and another one for SSO?
2. I have read in one of the thread that SSL certificate also include the SSO functionality. Does it mean that if i delete the SSO certificate
and configure the SSL between SAP Portal and Backend server, we don't need to configure SSO in same servers?
Pls share if there are any other suggestion to configure SSL and SSO on same servers (Portal and backend server combination). If there is any docuemnt, pls share.
Best Regards
Amar
