Inbound ORDERS05 and external number assignment

Hello SAP Gurus,

I need your help. We get Orders into SAP from PI and in the future we should use external number assigment.

So I need PPI to send the external number that I should use to create the order in VA01.

I have looked in WE60 on basic type ORDERS05 and tried to fill in the external number in E1EDK01 - BELNR - But still my IDOC fails..

I keep getting the error

Fill in all required entry fields

But if I change the order type in the IDOC to one that does not require an external number assigment, the idoc can be posted without errors ? Do anyone have an idea what could be wrong ?

hI,

check E1EDK02-BELNR for external number range

You have to use E1EDK02-BELNR with qualifier 066 instead of E1EDK01

try and revert
