Adding New field in GTS Customer Master

Hello,

We have requirement to set priority during SPL check for customer belonging to a particular Account group and created by a particular userid

We plan to do it by transferring the account group and ERNAM to GTS customer master data and then modify the SPL reports so that the new field will appear and we can prioritize it during the SPL run.

Is there any way we can modify the customer master screen in GTS?

Or any of you guys  Got any better Idea.

Hi Asif

I would just use standard fields within Identification tab of GTS Business partner. Why do you want to add a new one?

Just configure new Identification type (within Identification numbers). Something like ZACGRP and via RFC transfer there.

I was also planing for the identification tab (as a last resort...)

Well,

The requirement is to set a priority to customer based on the account group and the created by (Ernam) from R3 system, so that the partner will be considered prior during the SPL screening.

(The new field will be used during SPL runs (A1, B1, C1 scenarios))

The new field will turn to blank once the SPL run is done.

So it a onetime entry for customer master..

Hi Asif,

easy solution is the best solution.

1. You need to enhance a screening logic

2. Just use fields which are available (you save the effort) - Identification - Thumbs up

3. Do update after screening so you erase field

Hello Gabriel,

I have checked for the Identification number, but that field is not present in

Function module  :  /SAPSLL/API_1006_SYNCH_MASS , hence we wont be able to update the value  from R3 system.

Hello All,

Thanks to those who has checked my post.

We have decided to create only one field in GTS customer master and

update it if the account group and ernam is passed to GTs.

(so that only 1 field needs to be created in GTS)

Anyways, how to add in a new field in GTS customer master, still remains

unanswered.
