What is impact on Solution Manager 7.1 upgrade on standby database

Dear All,

We are upgrading solution manager to 7.1 from 7.0. We have ABAP stack with Java SCS component. We have created standby database using Oracle Dataguard (Oracle DB 11g).

I want know that:

1. when our system is upgraded to 7.1, do we need to create fresh standby database again. OR standby database would be upgraded through archive replication?

2. Does Java SCS component also upgraded through 7.1 upgrade or it is seperately upgraded?

Hi Anil,

1. I am not very sure on standby database of Oracle Datagaurd, however when we upgraded from 7.0 >7.1 we upgraded the Oracle DB after the SAP upgrade.

2. Java components are upgraded along with the ABAP stack automatically, all are part of the same upgrade/installation DVDs.
