Hi,

While removing Enterprise manager old installation details from solman_setup configurations, it's giving following error message due to which I am incapable of updating new EM. Kindly suggest !! Though I have checked in SCN, but not getting perfect solution for my scenario ..

Hi Nitu,

You can follow 1765041 note to resolve this issue. I also had faced same issue and taken following steps to get rid of this :-

1. Go to the transaction SOLMAN_SETUP_ADMIN

2. Click on Generic Storage Admin UI

3. In the drop down list "Configuration id" choose "EM_CONFIG_ID-EM_CONFIG_ID"

4. Choose the EM_CONFIG_ID starting with ID and not ending with USERS=X that should be removed

5. Locate the ID in the table Configuration details for:ID = [Chosen_WILY_Installation]

6. In transaction SE37 execute function module FM_DELETE_CONFIGURED_EM_BY_ID

7. Provide the EM storage ID as parameter

8. Execute

Hi Vivek,

I am getting error message while registering new EM . Eventhough I have uninstalled the old one, but still it prompts following error message :-
