Optimizing resources with differing strategies in a single shot

Hi gurus,

We're using the PP/DS Optimizer to finitely plan one of our location, works fine up to now but we'd be interested to finetune strategy per resources DURING the optimization (meaning not after the optimization run through dedicated heuristics for instance).

Basically the requirement would be to apply a different strategy (Backward scheduling or Compact scheduling) per resource during a single optimization run, for instance: resources R1 & R2, optimize at the same time:

- R1 with Compact scheduling

- R2 with Backward scheduling

Selection of resources beeing done "outside" the optimization profile, would there exist a possible way or an alternative way to achieve such a requirement? (even through Badl/enhancement if not feasable in standard)

Hi

This error occurs when items that were involved in backorder processing  are rejected or deleted or if the entire document is deleted.
After you implement this correction, the messages are entered via the  missing items into the backorder processing buffer. To display the messages, select the button 'Messages' in the results display.

You must create a new message. Call transaction SE91. Enter /SAPAPO/ATP_BOP as message class and select 'Change'.
Create the following message under the number 084 (instead of '_', you  must enter a ' & ' for the messages; direct specification in the message was not possible here in the description):

084 Item _1 does not exist

Save the new message. Switch back to Change mode, select the message and select 'Long text'
Enter the following details:
Diagnosis
Item _V1_ (POSGUID) no longer exists in the APO system.
  The item was manually rejected or deleted after backorder processing  was executed or the entire document was deleted.
System responses
  This item is not displayed in the list of results.
Assignment to the external document/item number is no longer possible.

Save and activate.

Hi Pascal,

You can do it through Production Planning Run transaction "/SAPAPO/CDPSB0 - Production Planning Run ". You can define 2 different optimization profiles and maintain 2 steps in the PP run.

One step with the compact scheduling optimization profile and the respective resource selection and another step with the backward scheduling optimization profile and the respective resources.

Please try and revert.
