Ensure specific communication channels remain shut on holidays maintained in SAP Holiday Calendar

Hi Gurus,

Hope you all are doing well. We have SAP PI 7.0. There are a set of file to IDOC scenarios where the requirement is to shut down the corresponding communication channels automatically on holidays maintained in SAP holiday calendar. Is this achievable? Relevant answers will be rewarded.

Hi Ambrish,

Thank you very much for the reply. It seems, we can control the functioning of the communication channels. Can we control the same using unix scripting or do we do this using ABAP coding? Do share if you have any sample coding with you.

Would be waiting for you to reply back.

Hi Mastan

Thanks to you too. I am aware of sceduling communication channels using PI scheduler on the Java stack but that was not my requirement.

Debansu,

The links above have the details on the different approaches which can be followed

You have to choose and apply the solution.

For the ABAP code, the link below does have the code:

Hi Debansu,

You can achieve this by  ATP (Availability Time Planning) option from RWB.

Hi Debansu,

yes, we can shut the channels automatically by using "availability time planning"  in CC monitoring.
