Not getting OTR text in Component Configuration

Hi All,

I am working on SAP TM module. In one of my requirement, I have enhanced the standard Overview Page Floor Plan Configuration and added two new tabs to the OVP Floor plan. For the title of the new tabs, I created OTR text with alias say 'ZTM/TEST' for text 'Test' in English language and maintained translation in German as well.

But when I run the application configuration, the title is displayed as 'ZTM/TEST'(which is the name of the alias)  rather than 'Test'.

Can anybody please share what could be the reason for OTR text not being replicated as 'Test' for the title of the newly added tab.

Hello Srikanth,

You need to maintain text as $OTR:ALIAS NAME.

For example.In the below snapshots you will find in details.

1)I have created an OTR text with Vendor code.

2)But when i try to assing OTR text in TEXT property of input field not prefixed by $OTR:, it gives me the alias name as shown.

3)But when i assiged ORT text prefixed by $OTR: , it gives me OTR text maintained.

Hi Srikanth,

If this is in webdynpro application then did you maintained text with extension $OTR:ZTM/TEXT or just as  ZTM/TEXT??
