Release procedure for sales orders

Hi All,

I am creating a contract and subsequent release orders from it, when i create the release orders i need a work flow to be triggered (as in MM config where PO is approved via workflow). Is this possible with std SAP config's.

Hi Saravanan,

Yes this is possible in SD with the help of User status maintenance.

You can define your own Status Profile in BS02 where you have to arrange the Hierarchy (Dept Head >>> Branch Head >>>> and so on).Each Status have its own function like you can allow some event or forbid.You can define your Auth Key in BS52 and assign it to the specific user in PFCG with the help of Basis guy.
