no optimizer server is installed for APO

Hi

When i tried to access PPDS optimizer via DS planning board i get this message " no optimizer server installed " should i ask my user to contact SAP ?

Hi, you'll first need to install optimizer which can be downloaded from service market place. (I think you should have already done with it.) Then you'll need to create RFC connection to your optimizer server in SM59 with connection type TCP/IP, which needs to be tested successfully. If then you're able to see the correction information for the optimizers in /sapapo/opt09, I think the optimizer is installed sucessfully.

Hii Rahul,

I think you should ask to your DBA team to install optimizer server...DBA team can raise to SAP further.....
