different fields/control among K004, K005, K007

Hi Experts:

I was testing some of the condition functions today and noticed the following difference among the three condition types,

in v/06 for these three condition types, K005 is the only one that does not have tickbox "calculation type" under changes which can be made.

Also when creating the condition records, K005 gives you the following function under additional data:

Max Condition Value,

Max Num of Orders,

Max Condition Base Value.

while neither K004 or K007 has these fields.

Is this a hard coded program by SAP or we can control these fields through IMG?

Your input is appreciated

Hi,

Check in(V/06) "Master data" section Check mark is applied for Condition update for K005 condition.

same tick mark is not applied for K004 and K007.

Krishna.

Lee,

It would be an interesting question to ask - Why the condition update functionality is applicable for K005 and not for K004 or K007?
As all three condition types are discount condition types.

The answer is if business requires, the condition update functionality can be activated (activate the field "Condition update") for any of these condition types, in V/06.

Thanks TW. I guess it's just that SAP is favoring K005 more.
