migo excise tab open based on tax code maintain in PO only

hi all,

my client require excise tab to be open in SAP during MIGO as per tax code maintain in Purchase order.

i am not able to find answer for the same

please help.

Dear R K,

The MIGO excise invoice tab is directly related to the maintenance of master data in J1ID for Material & Vendor. The assessable value & Basic Excise tax rate for the material is also picked from J1ID. In FTXP we maintain 100% value for the BED, but the exact rate for BED get picked up from the Excise tax rate maintained for chapter i'd in J1ID

Are you maintaining TAX INJ or TAX INN?

If its TAX INN, then Rates are fetched from Conditions record .Please follow the below to fetch data correctly and logic of SAP.

How data flow from PO to MIGO and J1IEX

1. FV11 maintain for setoff (give the excise value as 24% , 12 % as it is) and % (maintain 100%)
2. Maintain Excise Condition type in Excise default (SPRO-LG-Tax
   on Goods Mvt- Determination of Excise Duty- maintain Excise Default)

1. Maintain the same in (SPRO-LG-Tax on Goods Mvt-
   Determination of Excise Duty-Condition Based Exc Deter-Classify Condition type)

Set off Condition total is flown to
MIGO screen and show as BED. In the Above
case JEOP maintained values flow from PO to MIGO excise Screen

Maintain the same for all Condition types (as in your PO) for Excise

Hi

The excise tab will appear in MIGO if the below is maintained,

> Plant,vendor and material are cenvatable/excisable in J1ID

> The movement type is maintained relevant for excise in table J_1IMVMT

The tax code is no where linked with the excise tab appearing in MIGO.

Excise tab during MIGO ,will appear only if you have maintained the masters in J1ID

(material  ,Vendor )

When you create a PO , you assign a tax code .If you have maintained the condition record for the tax code , then only you will be able to see the tax values/line item during simulation.

Dear RK,

              As per SAP standard , Excise tab is open only when , you will maintain material and vendor detail in J1ID tcode (Chapter Id & Vendor Excise Details. Pls tell your client to its standard procedure of SAP & you have to follow it.
