PGI for delivery allowed even though LC expired

Hello all,

At Sales order header level, LC is attached. Value of LC is equivalent to Sales order value.

We are facing problem while doing PGI. Even though LC is expired i.e. "Validity End Date" is in past system gives Information message as below:

Financial documents: Check: Deadlines Check result: Not OK

Message no. EI575

Diagnosis

You have assigned a financial document to the document.
The system checked the relevant settings in the IMG to see whether the financial document could be used.

The result of the check was negative:

Check: Deadlines
Valid to 30.08.2013
Last confirmed sched.line 09.09.2013
Check result: Not OK

System Response

The system issues a message.

After this message, system allows to do PGI.

How do I convert this information message into error message.

Kindly help with your valuable opinions.

Dear Zeel,

Do the below setting user Transaction Code: VX52

Maintain the Latest Shipping Date should be as required entry that is 2 as shown in below screen shot

In Transaction code VX52, I have maintained the same setting as mentioned by you. Still system allows to do PGI for the delivery.

My query is how to change this particular information message to Error message and hence system should not allow user to do PGI.

Dear Muhammad Minhajuddin,

For VI49, setting is as mentioned by you. However I suppose this is to check in-completion log at header level.

This will not be able to solve the requirement.

Is there any other way out?

I have activated Validity End date and latest shipping date in VX52 it is solved my problem i dont know why it is not working for  you which version are you using? check all the settings properly defnantly it will solve your problem.
