FIFO for non batch managed materials in WMS

Dear Gurus,

I have defined WMS system for non batch raw materials and facing following issue while maintaining FIFO in WMS.

Following process is followed for storage:

1 GR against PO at intermediate SLoc.say TR01.

2. Transfer posting against other is doen using movement type 311 in MIGO to transfer material from TR01 to WMS managed SLoc.

    Transfer requirement is craeted in background.

     Here i am puting GR-line item for material in field unloading point in MIGO.

3. Tr is converted into TO and storage bin is assigned in LB11.here also value unloading point is updated in TO as well as TR.

It is possible to assign multiple storage bins to single TR.

Now I want to manage  FIFO while removing material from storage bin.

Please suggest how the FIFO can be maintained in WMS.

you have to make sure that each receipt is stored apart from another receipt of the same material, you need to have separate quants.

if the you store the next receipt in the same bin, then the quant gets mixed and the last GR date is overwritten, hence you are losing this important information.

just define your picking strategy as FIFO (oldest quant picked first within on storage type) or stringend FIFO where oldest quant among all storage types is taken first.
