problem in web dynpro

hi experts,

i got a problem in web dynpro.its in the design stage.my problem is the ie explorer page is not displayed.it says that dns error.

res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://erpser1:8000/sap/public/myssocntl?sap-client=200

how to rectify it? is there any pre requisite for designing a web dynpro? i mean any kind of configuration or settings change? i am using SAP 6.0 .

hi Prajith,

Step 1. please check the basic thnings, like Your URL in <b>Window -> Preferences -> Java Development Infrastructure -> Development Configuration Pool</b>.

it should be :

http://<localhost>:50000/sld/cimom

Where localhost is your DTR Server.

Ping the server.

Please Ignore Step1 if you are running a <b>Local Webdynpro Application</b>.

Step2.Please Check your J2EE Engine settings in <b>Window -> Preferences -> SAP J2EE engine</b> Host and Port.Make sure you deploy your application on the proper server.

How about checking your Proxy setting of NWDS in the menu

Window -> Preferences -> Proxy Settings.
