How webdynpro abap is related to Hr-abap?

Hi everyone,

Please tell me how webdynpro-abap is related to HR-ABAP? Can you please provide some real time implementations involving these two modules?

I just want to know how and where webdynpro-abap is used in HR-abap. I got trained in  SAP ABAP, and Webdynpro-ABAP, while attending telephonic interviews they are asking like "have you worked on HCM or HR-ABAP? since you have done WD4A, didn't you work on HR related projects?? ".

I'm new to SCN so please let me know whether have I posted this discussion in the right forum or not?

Hi Kumar,

SAP has provided very good standard webdynpro applications in quite a lot of HCM areas like say ESS / MSS and obviously these have been used mostly by all organisations implementing SAP HCM modules. So some folks tend to relate WD knowledge to SAP HCM but truth is WD is a UI technology and can be used in any application area you choose to use.
