JSM --> SMAD instead of SMCR

Would it be possible to integrate JSM with charm transaction type SMAD instead of SMCR?

the default options is SMCR which we would like to change

Hello there,

I suppose you are using solman 7.1. A big SAP customer in China already tried that and they successed.

A job request can based on any CRM 7 order, what you need to do is configure JSM assignment block for CRM web ui, so that right actions (e.g. create job doc button in the Asignment block) are shown when the CRM order in a specific status.

If you are using solman 7.1 SP09 or later, a JSM setup guide alread can be found in SOLMAN_SETUP, if you are not in so high SP, please go to IMG. You can find action like 'Configure Assignment Block' in both of them.

I'm looking for the same because our process of SMCR contains too many controls and approve which is not relevant for JSM in our company.

Did you have a look into the SPRO for JSM ?

If you want to change the document type

go through SM30 then table AGS_EJR_PROCTYPE

Add SMAD and select Active

Then unactivate all other entries (or even delete them)

Check what it gives in your JSM request
