HI All,
We are facing a issue when we are trying to edit a file.
FAILED: The ‘file’ is self checked-out for delete by user 'XXX'.
Even the same user again tries to check-out the file.He is getting same error.
The user has multiple workspace. When we see openactivities,
we dont see this file checked-out in any of those workspaces
Is it possible to find which workspace has checkout out file?
Can you also give any input how this issue can be resolved.
Thanks
Hanmayya
Hi,
you can use the User Filter in activation view and in transport view to see who checked out the resource, see
You can also go to the DTR Perspective, go to the resource in question, and then from the context menu of it you can select Properties
where you can see the workspace, State as well as the Last modifier:
Further, you can also go to the DTR webui (http://<host>:<port>/dtr/system-tools/reports/ActivityQuery) and check the activities from there.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Ervin

Hi
sorry for replying late.
I was able to resolve issues as below.
went to http://<SLDHOST>:<PORT>/dtl
logged into as the same user which has the file in open activity
searched for the file with open activity
Reverted the open activity
Was then able to edit the file.
Thanks,
Hanmayya
Can you make an attempt to revert the related activities? Also you can consult for more information with the user 'yrzzl' you can see in the error message.

As I see the topic is already under investigation here https://answers.sap.com/questions/13008394/failed-the-file-is-self-checked-out-for-delete-by.html therefore I am closing this thread.
