Hi, Experts.
In environment of Windows2003 - ECC6.0(Unicode) - Oracle10.2,
I plan introduction of to use WindowsVista(character set : JIS2004) as a client.
According to OSS Note 872305, character set JIS2004 is supported by using an Unicode-base system.
But, according to Oracle KROWN 123402 , it does not seem to support JIS2004 other than character set AL32UTF8 of DB of Oracle and National character set AL16UTF16.
My environment parameters are below.
-
V$NLS_PARAMETERS "NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET" : "UTF8"
User environment variable "NLS_LANG" : "AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8"
-
In my environment, JIS2004 letters works correctly?
Using JIS2004 should not be a problem.
