Hello

But the packages are there in the download directory.

Either the patches mentioned in the stack file are not present in the packages directory or the files might be having wrong permission.

I would consider recreating the stack file and download the files once again and try from a different directory.

Or delete all the files in the present directory and then upload the newly downloaded files.

Regards

RB

Hi,

Please check and post the log .

Which all patch it says please download , Uncar and place them in the /EPS/in directory.

As a part of the same note this issue was there in SPAMSAINT 39 as mentioned in note Note 1506812 - Wrong check of unchanged SW components during EHP5 install.

But dont know why you are getting this error as you are already at 50 SPAM.

Thanks

Hello

First for every phase or activity there will be separate log files generated by the SUM tool in the log directory.

I suggest you to sort the log files by time and read the latest ones to identify the root cause.

The problem here is the files for the component MDG_APPL not found by SUM.

In order to perform a trouble free upgrade you need to download all the files mentioned in the stack file.

For that you need to have a consistent stack file created and then you crosscheck whether all the files have been downloaded.

Check this SAP note as well

Note 1685824 - Add-On SAP MDG 6.1 on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6

Hi,

Please login in solution manager and check that the patch in SMSY matches the target system that you are upgrading.

If its not same please fetch data and regenerate the xml file.

Reset the sum tool and start the upgrade again.

Please past the latest logs from the SUM/log directory.

Thanks

Hello

Error Message: Component 'MDG_APPL' not found

Check the stack file whether the packages for this component are present in it.

Check whether you have them in the directory where you have all the files kept.

Are you using the SAP Download Manager to download the files ?
