Hi Experts,
We are facing some issues in BW system. System is in Netweaver 7.02, SP13.
Issue:
1. Bex is launched from RRMX transaction code.
2. New Query is expected to be executed from Query designer.
3. From query designer, launch query ''Z***' in Analyzer by click on the green tick icon (Quit and Use Query).
4. Instead of bringing up next screen "Select values for variables", its throwing below error.
ERROR:
Invalid SAPGUI logon data
<internal error> Receiving from BW server failed
BW Server raised exception: SYSTEM_FAILURE
More information:
Connection Closed Without Error Message (CM_NO_DATA_RECEIVED)
Error Class: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Actual screen should be like below, which is actually resulting to the above error:
Things checked:
1. RFC connection (TCP/IP) which is maintained in table/view RSPOR_T_PORTAL from SM59 (BI ABAP) and Visual Admin (BI JAVA)-correctly configured & work fine.
2. ABAP RFC Connection to self connection & Source system connection- correctly configured and work fine.
3. Source system connection in RSA1 is working fine.
4. There is no recent changes made in the system.
5. Single sign-On is working fine.
6. From above description, looks like Bex Analyse has no issue while its launching.
7. User has similar access in Develpment & Quality, while, problem is only in Quality, so does not look like authorization issue.
8. Checked, BWRFC user, used for RFC, is unlocked and works fine.
9. Does not look like any issue with SAPGUI as well, because D & Q are in same version, but issue is only Q.
10. Did not find any short dump related to this issue.
11. Did not find any SM21 log as well.
12. I am not sure if RFC trace can provide any data?
Did not find any SAP note with this specific error related to Bex.
Can someone let me know what could be the issue? Need some expert advice as soon as possible.
Please let me know if any further information is required?
Regards,
Sujit.
Hi Sujit,
The reason could be that you have used a variable which is using Customer exit and customet exit is not populatiin the result properly.
See the local variabled used. In this condition also, we get such error.

Hi Nitesh,
We found the query is running fine without any issues in RSRT. Problem is while running in RRMX-Bex Query Designer.
Can you give your opinion with this information? I am expecting, this could help you to let me know if you still think, an issue with query itself or something else?
Kindly advise.
Regards,
Sujit.
Hi Sujit,
Do the following:
tcode RSRT. Enter query name and hit ENTER. Click Environment ----> Query Mass Maintenance.
Type InfoCube Name. Hit ENTER. Select the query and click Mass Maintenance.
Change the read mode accordingly and Save it.
Later on RSRT screen, click Cache Monitor and Delete it.
Now run the report. Hope it helps.
Please revert.
Thanks,
Nitesh
Hi Sujit,
Please try upgrading Bex to latest patch. It had solved the issue in my case.

Kindly refer the link http://scn.sap.com/message/14331634#14331634
And also you can check the Query level access by using the T code 'RSECADMIN '
