Status dependendant Settlement

Hi All,

Are there any standard system dependencies between Project System Status (not User Status) and performing settlement?

I am aware that the CLSD status cannot be set until cost is fully settled. Similarly are there any other dependencies with System Status in periodic or full settlement?

Further, can we restrict the full settlement till WBS element is in TECO status?

Hi,

Settlement exeuction is possible in all system statuses unless withhold by using user status.

System executes settlements irrespective system status and not possible to have what you are looking for.

So better use, user status to acheive your requirements.

Hi Sujith,

Are your WBS " investment measures"? ( the receiver is an asset)

Because if not the WBS cannot be closed until the balance = 0 ( totally settled) but this doesnt mean that you have executed the full settlement if not that period by period you have settled your WBS.

The user/system status are independent the period/ full settlement have been executed.

If you need to restrict it you create variants and execute settlement in CJ8G. Create one that excludes TECO WBS that is executed by PER and othe one that includes only TECO and it is executed fully.
