Got a new printer setup in sap..
Point 1)
When printing to the printer using the printer name as defined in SPAD, there is no printout at all.
Checked SP01 spool, status shows "completed", then i check on the physical printer and its showing error on display.(seems like the printer has received the job from sap but somehow there's error stopping the printing)
Point 2)
Next, i have also set this printer as my default windows printer, and in sap if i print using LOCL, the printing works ok and normal.
What could be the problem that i was not able to print in point 1?
Thanks and please help.
What is Device Type and Access Method you are using ?
What is page size in Physical printer ?

Hi,
Do you use a correct device type that is compatible with the physical printer in point 1?

Although instead of a postscript problem, you may have a PCL problem.
