Hi,

How to reduce the space between two characters in SAP Script.

I've tried changing charcters/inch in basic settings but its not working.

I'm using helve 10 font and i need the same font but i want to reduce the space between two characters.

can you try and check adjusting the line spaces .. which will be in the paragraph format below the alignment.

Hi Sumit,

Reducing space between characters in word sounds difficult, what you can do is reduce the font size, or going with some other font. This may solve your problem.

Yeah it is..

changing font is out of question coz i need specific font with specific font size(helve 10).

In the Smartform there is feature called "Charecters per inch" settings in Page level.. in the same way check whether there is any option in Scripts... i hope it helps you.

As i have stated earlier characters per inche is not working...

Hi sumit,

the option charcters/inch will work only if u specify the window width unit interms of characters. If not try to define the width of the window in char units and then change the charcters/inch in basic settings . Then it will work.
