Variant grid in Sales order

Dear All,

I am into implementation where great deal of wholesale specific orders will be created through standard SAP SD Sales order. now for all generic articles that we select in purchase order, a variant matrix (example size and color matrix) opens in a separate tab which allows us to put quantities against each.The grid in PO looks like this: the screenshot is from PO - item detail - Variant tab:

I could  not find such matrix to put order quantity in sales order. Is this by design or some patch or component is missing?

Were you able to resolve it,  If Yes can you please share the same.  If it is possible in normal IS Retail without CRM

Hi Binita

For sales order item category you need to configure bill of material settings like below. Then you will be

able to open variants in sales order creation.
