Hi
We are installing UCES package at a WEB AS 6.40. It is a special package adjusted for the Utilities Industry based on SAP Biller Direct.
We would like to store the users in the UME of the WAS and not in the backend (IS-U). Therefore we chosed the UME scenario in the XCM tool and configured it. We have also configured the UME addattrs parameter in the Visual Administrator and added the referenced user in the backend and Business Partner in the WAS UME.
The problem is that allthough everything seems to be configured according to the manual we receive an error. If I look in the general trace file of the WAS server I receive the following error:
SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_10##0#0#Error##Java###Error key added#1#error.user.notmapped#
SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_10##0#0#Warning##Java###com.sap.fin.webbase.UserWithoutAccountException: No valid References !
It seems like the user in WAS that I logon to must be referenced to the user in the backend (the pool user) because they don't have the same userid.
If I take a look in the security log I find the following:
#1.5#00127993958B003B0000000400000C280003F3F0CAB5E5CA#1112640448750#/System/Security#sap.com/com.sap.isu.ebpp#com.sap.engine.services.security#Guest#2####c5ab0a20a53911d99cb000127993958b#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_0##0#0#Info#1#com.sap.engine.services.security#Plain###No user name provided.#

This message tells me that I have missed a setting. I have went through the UME service in the Visual Administrator without any result.
Is there anyone who might have a clue what I am missing?
Best Regards// -Fred
Hi Fred,
I have exactly the same error you explained in this thread, how did you solve it?
Thank you

Hi Frederik,
I'm trying to configure UCES with your same scenario, with UME as users store. I've made the XCM configuration as explained in the guide but I have some troubles in the other steps of the configuration.
For example which is the BOR type we have to specify in these attributes in visual admin?
com.sap.security.core.user.references:objtype_0; com.sap.security.core.user.references:objkey_0;
Which is the business partner do I have to use? I didn't understand it very well..
Do I have to create any user in the backemd system?
Did you do anything about the company administrators?
I'm really in trouble because I can't find any reference or guide about this configuration steps..
Thank you
Regards
Mattia

Fred,
Where have you found the UCES package? It is not listed on the Business Packages list.
Thanks in advance. Regards,
Imanol
