Cancellation Credit Memo with Pricing error but no problems with prededing documents

Hi ,

         we are facing a strang issue in terms of a pricing error in cancellation credit memo and it is not posted to accounting. The funny thing is that there is no error with credit memo request, or the credit memo and it is posted to accounting. The issue is not replicable in quality and only occuring in production. In quality it is giving a error message about pricing but it is posted to accounting and the posting status is C unlike in production where the posting status is F.ABAP study of the standard code revealed that when the cancellation invoice is created VPRP-UVPRS field is populated with value X, which is causing the error. UVPRS with value X in cancellation credit memo means if it is incomplete due to pricing, but for corresponding credit credit memo UVPRS value is blank..meaning it is not incomplete.

Hi,

I tried to simulate the scenario, suggest to compare the condition in the credit memo and the Cancellation Credit memo document.

It might have happenned that the user might have deleted any relevant and madatory condition in the condition record and it would have hapenned between the Credit Memo creation and Cancellation Credit memo creation.

Please check and revert.
