Print preview adobe reader opens in a new window

Hi Experts,

When i am trying to open the adobe form by clicking print preview in a transaction, the adobe form opens in the reader without having any issue, but the pdf opens in a new window. After the document opens in a new window, the original session is white blank.

Is there any settings available to get around this issue

Platform- Windows 7

SAP GUI version- 7.20

Adobe reader version- 10.1.3

Hi Prasanna,

  Follow the steps below to solve your problem.

Open the PDF whch is opened in a new window and select Document----->Accessibility Setup Assistant as shown below

Click "Next" button till you reach the below window.

In the above widow make sure the check box "Display PDF documents in the web browser" is checked, then click on "Done".

After completing the above procedure, again execute the form and see.

Thanks Naveen for the suggestion,

I have checked this configuration which was already checked earlier. So, i did the scenario by unchecking and checking various times, but it still didnt work.

Are there any other parameters do we need to look into

Thanks Naveen.  This approach worked for me.  I went to 'Help --> Repair'  It fixed my issue.

Thanks a lot Naveen, it worked for me too. I just did the repair by clicking the option 'change' in add / remove programs.
