Hi,
I have created a sales order and a delivery against the order.
I have also completed the Picking in warehouse. Transfer orders have been created and confirmed. I have also done the Goods Issue.
Now, I wanted to check the delivery cancellation process. So I first did VL09 to reverse the GI movement.
My question is when I am trying to delete the delivery after VL09, it is getting deleted. Shouldn't the system ask to cancel the confirmed TOs first.
Ideally, we should first reverse the stock using LT0G and then cancel the confirmed TOs using LT15 and then system should allow us to cancel the delivery.
Is my understanding correct? Please help me out.
Hi Ankur,
Please note this is a standard behavior, below steps are correct:
-> VA01 - create Sales Order
-> VL01n - create Delivery
-> LT03 - create Transfer Order (if material is a WM managed)
-> LT12 - confirm Transfer Order
-> VL02n - Post Goods Issue
To reverse, you have to follow below steps:
-> VL09 - cancel Post Goods Issue
-> LT0G - return to stock from delivery, this will change pick qty back to "0" and WM status to A
-> VL02n - delete the delivery
LT15 would be used only when TO is not yet confirmed. In the case of confirmed TO, it is only possible to use LT0G. Both LT15 & LT0G will not be used. I hope this is clear to you now.
Thanks & Regards,
Balaji

LT0G is needed if you want unpick the delivery
if you want delete the entire delivery, then it does not matter if you unpick first. you can as well move the quants from 916 to the bins using LT01 and movement 999
