We have a SNP heuristics planning run process which runs every night in
the background. The planning results are not correct & receipts are not
generated for some products. Also we see that not all location products
are being selected when the heuristics is run though the selection
profile has all locations despite which the planning run is missed for
some products. As of now the workaround is if we run the product in foreground
(Interactive planning book), then the receipts are getting generated.
As per users observation, this issue is mainly happening for production
plants.
Can any one give us some hints....
Hi, it is most probablly that the low level codes are not correctly calculated. Please check the LLCs in /sapapo/rrp_netch first, or better run LLC determination again in /sapapo/snpllc.
Then please apply note 1907530, by which you'll get the location/products being processed, and the sequence of the location products processd if you're not using parallel processin.

Thanks Ada,
Yes, In SCM 7.0 LLC job showing finished successfully. Even though cycle entries existing in spool.
Later we have corrected the wrong cycles. now heuristic is working fine.
One question in SCM5.0 job uses to fail if wrong cycle entries exists. but why SCM 7.0 LLC job showing finished successfully even though cycle entries existing in spool?
Hi Gopala,
Please check the log of background job. In spool you can have the details for materials were planned by the job. Apart from that check the batch job variant for material selection if selection is based on planner then check the planner in properly maintain in product master MAT1.
