Hi
I started learning sap basis ecc 6.0 recently and want to know which topics to be stressed, learnt well. Please give me a clear view.
Regards
Ram
Not sure where this thread is leading to ??? Santosh , at this stage you should only be worried about learning since you are a starter. After you complete learning all the topics that you had listed above you will be self ready to face any interview.
I suggest close this thread , should you have any other questions other than the one you originally started the thread for ,, then please open a new thread .
All the best
Advise for other members in this thread .... try maximum not to post outside links other than SCN links .. SCN itself has unlimited knowledge information and threads . you should be able to find the information you are looking for in SCN itself .
As a member of SCN let us all try to keep up the community alive and healthy
Thank you all for understanding

As your are a starter you should only be worried about learning and getting a hold on the Basics , like Architecture , concepts and technology in SAP. Where ever you are taking the training they should pretty much cover all the topics that are basically required, after that you should be able to analyse for your self what more you need to learn , what was missed etc.. The Index list you have prepared seems to be little old , in the sense that some are not required now.
If you require a latest list of Topics Send me a mail I shall provide you.
All the best

Hello Ram,
Have a look on the blog by Juan Reyes where you can find nice suggestion on BASIS front:
https://scn.sap.com/community/netweaver-administrator/blog/2010/05/11/back-to-basis
Check below link for routine tasks, though it requires adding few more i.e : SM66/SM50, AL08/SM04,ST03/ST03n,ST06n,ST04/DB02, SM12 (explore on your own about all these transaction code, this will help you to know more about these) :
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=311330914&bc=true
and yes of course you need to go though TADM books (TADM10,TADM12 and TADM5X depending on DB you are interested).
All the best,
SUJIT
Blog by Nilutpal Sharmah a good read.

Hi Santosh,
For basis I shall suggest you to pick up TADM50 for basic understanding.
For Oracle database refer TADM51.
As a basis administrator you are required to have basic understanding on all the areas, OS, Database and SAP application.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Deepak Kori
