Integration of inspection lots in SNP

Scenario:

In certain cases, inspection lots without usage decision are already available for shipping to customers.

Is it possible in SNP to have inspection lots without usage decision to have them as available stock? If so, can somebody please explain how to do this?

Hello Peter,

I understand you want to represent Inspection Lots without a Usage Decision, in SNP. Now Inspection Lots are generally integrated into APO through CIF. In APO, they are assigned to a specific Order Category (QM Lot - BU). Now what you will need to do is:

1. Identify the SNP Key Figure at which you want this Inspection Lot represented.

2. Through the Planning Area, identify if there is a Cat Group associated with the Key Figure.

3. Through Customizing, assign the Inspection Lot Order Category to the Category Group.

1. The SNP Planning Books that contain this Key Figure should then start displaying the Inspection Lot quantites.
