HANA: 9.0SP2: Error while connecting to database server

Hi All,

I've installed SAP B1 for HANA 9.0SP2 (on HANA 53) and now I need to add the database server in the SLD. When I fill in all the data I get an error: Error while connecting to database server. I'm sure my settings are correct. The HANA Studio is connecting.

In the tomcat error logs I find:

com.sap.businessone.odata4j.enhance.ODataServiceException: Error while connecting to database server

        at com.sap.businessone.sld.function.op.DBInstanceService.addDatabaseInstance(DBInstanceService.java:161)

        at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)

Which is not very helpful. Anybody an idea on where I can look for a solution?

Hi Sebastiaan,

have you found a solution for this issue?

I just installed my SAP HANA, and i´m not able to Add the Server into SLD. Just like you described!

I upgraded to HANA 67 and SAP B1 9SP4... that fixed my issue...

Thanks for your return, Sebastiaan.

I Fixed the issue over here executing the Install Package and not the upgrade package.

I already was at PL04 but, as I didn´t have the install package in hands, I tried to run the upgrade package of the ServerTools. The execution didn´t show any error, but something just didn´t work properly.
