error with unit of measure

while creation of new material the system throws up a message

Unit of measure 019 is not defined as a commercial unit

I have mentioned the unit of measure as EA for my material.

Please advise

HI

Go to T.code. CUNI. and check whether EA is iso code. and

in Commercial change it as OFF. it will work now. Just now

i have saved my material. After changing Commercial to OFF.

Chcek the UOM Settings for the particular UOM you are using in Tcode CUNI

Or

SPRO-F5-General Settings- Curriencies - Check Uint of Measurement.

I have checked in T code: Cuni and Ea is assigned correctly to each. and still the error is coming. Please advise

Hi Aditya,

If it is correctly assigned in CUNI then this error should not appear. chcek once again in CUNI.

ELSE

In mm02 go to additional data and check the UOM Group assigned you can chcek these settings in spro-f5-Logistic general-Material master-settings for key fields-define UOM Groups

also check if any probelm with conversion / proportion/production unit etc.
