Variable in FTP Sender Source Path

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to have a dynamic variable at the source path of a FTP Sender Communication Channel?

So let's say at the source path of the FTP Sender Communication Channel I have something like this:

/Dir/%var1%/source/

where %var1% could be dynamic.

If this is possible, the next question would be where this '%var1%' comes from? Because this is the Sender Communication Channel, we don't have the payload yet, in fact we are just going to get the payload. Definitely it is not from the payload like in the case of a FTP Receiver Communication Channel.

No, it is not possible. But you can list all the directories by checking the Advanced Source File Selection.

variable substitution is only applicable for receiver adapter.
