hi Experts,

we could not able to access the ESR link “http://hostname.com:50000/rep/start/index.jsp” ,  after patching the below components in XI system 7.11. but other links are working fine.

it throws error:

503   Service Unavailable

  Error: Application cannot be started!

  Troubleshooting Guide https://sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/JSTS/Home

Details: "The WebApplicationException log ID is [5AF87EF52B06006D0000000A0041004E]."

patched the below components From

SAP_XIESR - 7.11.8.1    to  SAP_XIESR - 7.11.8.16

SAP_XITOOL - 7.11.8.1  to  SAP_XITOOL - 7.11.8.15

SAP_XIAF - 7.11.8.4        to SAP_XIAF - 7.11.8.34

So again later we upgrade the below patch to resolve the issue

SAP_XIGUI - 7.11. 8.1 to SAP_XIGUI - 7.11.8.3.

But still the same link is not accessible.

Regards,

Mpeter

Hi Peter,

First of all goto the below directory

1. /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS<instanceid>/j2ee/cluster/server<X>/log and checked the default trace and application log.

2. It may be the deployment has not happened correctly. So please redeploy the component through telnet

telnet <hostname> 5$$08.(Login with j2ee_admin user)

and then run the command

>add deploy

After this run the below command

deploy <location of the file>/SAP_XIESR version_rule=all

Run this command for the next two files and moreover you need to check whether this SCA files are dependent on the java core files, engine files or not.

Please paste content of default trace and application log

Hi Mpeter,

Check this post https://scn.sap.com/thread/1848442 especially these steps:

As our Colleague said it would be good to create message to SAP.

01 .Please check the cache,

02. check the system users are  not locked.

03. Re-initialization option in Java Web Start Administration (before using this please read the description carefully).

04. try Full Cache Refresh.

05. Check the Java run time version you are using.

BR,

Kamil
