Hi there,
I´m using a PI 7.31 AEX (Java Stack Only). I want to see the content of one table via:
Open SQL Data Browser --> XI_DIRDATAIFL
The dynpro trhows the following error:
User is not authorized to read table XI_DIRDATAIFL.
I have already assigned all the existing UME roles to my user but still can´t see the table, I get the same error.
Any clues how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance folks.
To be able to read system DataSource tables, you must have defined a User Management Engine (UME) action for the desired tables, and assigned the UME action to a role or group your user account belongs to.
See following help.sap.com link for further details and some code example:
Using Open SQL Data Browser - SAP NetWeaver Administrator - SAP Library

Hi Michal,
Thanks for the answer!
Anyway, I´m afraid that this role does not exist in 7.31 AEX.
Where you refering to a role or an action?
I have seen some actions in the UME, I guess this one is really close to what you were suggesting:
I made a role form this action and assigned it to my user... with no luck.
I have also tried with NWA_SUPERADMIN , which I guess is the role wihich grants you more authorizations in NWA, but it doesn´t work either.
I´m starting to think that there is no way of seeing the contents of that table via standard functionality of NWA ....
Thnks anyway Michal!
