IPR Stock inconsistency

Hi All,

I have identified an issue in our Quality system. We have some inconsistencies in IPR Stock, which is actually giving us ABAP dumps when we try to display the stock or when we try to convert the IPR Stock to Waste or Domestic issue.

Rootcause: There were some inconsistent IPR documents for which the Stock was updated but the corresponding line item was deleted from the Customs document.

On debugging, we can see that the dump is generated at a point where system tries to check the Customs Document item GUID which updated the stock with entries in table CUIT.

We had a plan of deleteting these incorrect items from the stock overview table /sapsll/ivmcst01 and /sapsll/ivmcsl01. But before that we would like to know if there are any standard programs which can actually solve this inconsistency in IPR stock.

Hi Dhilipan,

No, nothing standard.  Go ahead and delete the stock and log records, but also make sure there are no corresponding Closing Portions (entries in table /SAPSLL/LEGSCP), otherwise you will have problems with the Settlement Run later.
