Transportation zone in customer

Hi,

I have an issue about the Transportation zone for the customer.

A customer can have several transportation zone depending the plant.

In my company, we have several plant using the same customer, and each plant have his own transport delay.

How can I do to solve this issue?

Anything does exist in SAP to fix this issue or I have to do a developpement?

Your query is not clear.

A customer will always have one Transport zone based on his address or location...

Same way a plant will also have one transport zone based on its location..... There may be chance that storage location of plant situated at different location thats why having different zone...

Now a customer can have different ship to address or Ship to party which are located at different place having different transport zone...

This is standard business situation in normel business scenario. Now let me know whats your query and what you are looking for.....??

Sorry if my query wasn't clear!

My quiry is to have a route by customer and by plant.

So if I have a customer used by 2 plants, I will have 2 differents routes, so 2 times of transport.

As per standard sap for route determination departure zone  comes from shipping point. As you mentioned there are different plant for which you want automatic route determinatin ? Then check shipping points and zone assigned to that..

Hi Neeraj,

I agree with you about the behaviour of the determination of the route.

Sap determines the route according to the shipping point and the transportation zone.

So if we have a the same customer for two plants, we can only enter one transportation zone.

For example

Customer X have the transportation zone TR01 with plant F01

                                                    zone TR02 with plant F02  

So two different routes with two different times

Automatic Route determintaion  (Without weight)  consider below information for determination of route:

Departure Zone : Comes from Shipping Point

Destination zone: Comes from ship to party

Shipping Condtion : Comes from customer Master

Transportation Group: Comes from Material master sales view 2

So in your case there will be two zone one from shipping point (Departure Zone) and other from customer (Destination Zone).

Check Route determination setting in SPRO >> Logistic Execution >> Shipping >>Routes >> Route determination

Please confirm whether Customer X has got 2 Transportation Zones or 2 Ship to Locations??

Because you can't maintain 2 Transportation zones for the same customer.

My issue is about the reception zone, I have only one reception zone by customer.

So for the same customer we several reception zone dependinf the shipping point

Please see the table V_TROLZ00

This table is used to define the right route by shipping point

table V_TROLZ00 is same which you find in SPRO configuration for route determination.

Anyway for detail you should go via SPRO path.

Now in this table you find combination of departure and destination zone.

So if Plant1 have shipping Point1 with Departure zone 001

Plant2 have shipping point2 with departure zone 002

Customer1 has detination zone C001

Then you can set different route for departure zone 001 and destination zone C001 say Route1

Same for departure zone 002 and C001 can have different route say Route 2

Considering SC and Transportation group same in both the cases.

create per customer plant  a different ship to party and assign it to the customer.

In sales order processsing you got a selection pop up.

In spite of making system more complicate please create different ship to parties with applicable transportation zone and go ahead.

with combination of standard config and above you do the rout determination for differenct ship to party...

Hi

You can link shipping point with plant, and you set shipping point to its own transp.zone (SM30/V_TVST_RF). After you set routes with departure and destination. I'd think in routes, not in transportation zones, why do you want to have more transp.zones by customer depending on plant?
