FTP directory Paths Example

Hi Experts,

Can any one please share how the FTP paths are to be maintained for Data Import Monitor Tasks and what is the use of Remote Directory?.

PFB screenshot of FTP paths  which I tried , but still the Schedule task is throwing error the Upload Directory is not found.

P.S:- My FTP and Sourcing are on two different servers.

Vignesh,

The Remote Directory is your FTP Location.

And the upload, queue and archive is the ESO directories.

You have done the other way around.

As mentioned by you  the FTP server is on the other directory, the Remote Directory is used to set the address of the folder (like this one) present in remotel location (FTP).

Hi Vignesh,

Do you know exactly where your master data which is coming from PI/XI is storing from SAP Sourcing side? Is it is Sourcing local directory or in FTP server. Please get this information from your PI consultant if you do not have idea on this.

And next point is check with your BASIS team to know the exact full path to those directories to use in schedule tasks.

We normally stores master data in local directory of SAP Sourcing.
