Shipment Document : Custom fields population in VT01N

Hi Experts,

Need your help on below requirement:

• In My client Legacy, they have Vehicle Master with Certain Categories of Vehicles (ex. Cat 1 , Cat 2 , Cat 3)
• Based on Vehicle Number and above Categories, Transportation Pricing is dependent.
• Various reporting are also dependent on these fields.

I have thought to Create a Vehicle Master with these Categories and Include Vehicle Number in VTTK-EXTI2 field and Various categories in VTTK-ADD01 to VTTK-ADD04 fields.

Now, My requirement is how to populate all this relevant fields in Shipment Document based on VTTK-EXTI2 (Vehicle Number) Field selection by user while document creation.

Hi Mahendra,

As usual the user exit route only. The standard way is not available.

In SMOD, you use use the enhancement V56BMOD which is normally used for field modification in Shipments.  Here u can use the exit    EXIT_SAPLV56B_001

You can also try the exit EXIT_SAPLV56U_005 in the enhancement V56USVDO for for your purpose. This will be closer to your requirement.
