Hi,
We are using Solution Manager 7.1 for test management.
Question: While creating a test plan we have to select the 'Test Note Document Type' from the drop down list appearing in the 'Defaut' tab of the test plan. Does anyone know where this list is coming from or how I can configure this?
There is a document type that we created in the project admin to be used for the test note . However that document type is not appearing in the drop down list.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Pravin
Hi
1. You need to a new Document type in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN -> Project Standards -> Document Types -> Project Template
2. You need to click on the << arrow to add to the project Doc types
3 Close the template window and come back to the project , the new document type will still be in unused doc types
4. Once you add to the project , you can start using it , make sure the Extension to open the new document is DOC or DOCX
5.Now you can start using the new Test Note type

Hi,
Please try SPRO -> Capablities -> Test management -> Test documentation -> Define template for test documentation and proceed.
Thanks

Hi Jansi,
I checked the SPRO config.
In the ' Define template for test documentation' step there are 2 activities:
1) Change SAPScript Template
2) Assign Templates for KW Documents
Tried both these activites but that did not solve the issue.
Would appreciate if you could share some more info on the same.
Thanks,
Pravin
