Hi folks,
We're in the process of trying to build up and finalize our business blueprint. Part of this is the use of the program AGS_BPCA_TBOM_STATIC_GEN to generate static TBOMs for all our transactions/programs.
When we first ran it, we got results that linked TBOM's to our development system. We were expecting the program to hit the QA system as well, but it did not.
We want to run it against our QA system as it's more reflective of our production system and we want to be accurate when we start to utilize the BPCA for support packs
Now that we've been trying to specifically target just the QA system by removing the DEV environment from the logical component, we are getting the following error:
"
We know that System role C is our development system, but thought we had gotten around that by having the navigation role for the solution point at the quality assurance system.
Has anyone come across this issue and what the fix is so that we can generate TBOMs against our QAP system?
Hi,
please check the system role defined in solar02 .
Goto solar02 , from menu -> select system role -> choose quality assurance system.
Later you can keep your dev system also in logical comp.
Please check.
Thanks
Jansi

Hi Nicholas,
Are you on Solution Manager 7.1? We recently did successful TBOM recording for various DEV/QA systems in our landscape.
As I understand the Business blueprint is already defined in SOLAR02 transactions. Further the system landscape tab is filled for the corresponding project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN transaction. Please make sure the logical component Z_NONPROD_ERP_ECC_SERVER has the respective system you want to record the TBOM for.
Further, removing the DEV system from the above logical component might not be helpful in directing the project/solution to use the QA system. For the respective project in SOLAR02, you need to set the system role for the project is Quality - which by default in Development. From the SOLAR02 menu, you can make the change.
Regards,
Srikishan
