License file generation issue for SUP 2.2

I have downloaded and installed SUP 2.2 on my windows 7 machine with a trial license from Service Market place. Now I would like to get the License file from SAP Service Market place.

After logging in to Market place, I see the SUP 2.2 option to select as installation and next step to provide System Data.

It asks for System Id (3 digit alphanumeric). I looked under ipconfig/all for the Physical address. It starts with 9C4 while per SAP indication it shall start with a letter first not numeric (like -9). I get error at this step for invalid system id.

(Invalid System ID - must be exactly 3 alphanumeric characters, starting with a letter A-Z)

Has anybody experienced similar issue ?  How do we get host id of Windows 7 laptop? (Other than going to ipconfig/all and look for physical address)

It got resolved.

Solution: Used link-Local Ipv6 address first 3 digits as System Id
