Approvers deleting line item in Shopping Carts

Hello Guru's,

I would like to ask for help in understand and issue we are facing in SRM 7.02 classic scenario.  Approvers have the ability to delete line items in a shopping cart when they are looking at the details.  This causes an issue with the shopping carts as now there is not a line item in the shopping and it is allowed to be rejected and no error message is returned.  But if you delete the line item and the click on accept an error message is returned 'Enter at least one item or one limit'.  When the SC is rejected now there is no processor found to send it back to the requestor to look at, SAP has issued a note 1904038 to fix that issue so now the SC come back into the inbox.  But then there is nothing for the requestor to approve or reject.  Has anyone faced this issue before.  Maybe it is as simple as removing the delete feature from the approver so that they can't delete SC line items, would like to get thoughts on that and where in the config can that be done.

Hi Jeff,

had the same issue. Solved via Enhancement (at the end of method /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DYN_MDA_IT_SC->DELETE_ITEM).

There is no customizing for that, cause you must separate creation and approval of shopping cart (made via SC Statuses).
