Hi,
Has anybody SCPed a file to a target directory using PI ? I know the standard file adapter cannot support that. My design approach is to have a temporary FTP site within the intranet and have a script run that can SCP to the target directory. Another possible option would be to go for an adapter module that sits on top of file adapter(not sure about the feasibility). Any inputs or experiences will be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Venkata,
SCP has been already supported by Advantco's SFTP adapter. You should replace the script with the adapter to take full advantage of the adapter's functionalities.

Agreed with Baskar, there is no standard option available as of now with SAP PI 7.11. Instead you can opt for B2B Add-On staying at SAP PI 7.11 as well.
The only prerequisite is that you must be on SAP PI 7.11, SP 08 or above.

Hi,
The client already has Advantco SFTP adapter, but when we are dealing with external vendors who can deal only with certain protocols like SCP, its hard to convince them to change. So our approach would be to go with a script that runs at a temporary location which can SCP to a target dir.
Thanks all.
File adapter does not support scp. You might want to try FTPS or SFTP. If you need to use scp then you have to use the script and run scp commands over there. Otherwise you have to create custom module for this. There is no standard option now.
