If you choose cost minimization then system will try to determine the most cost-effective solution based on the costs defined in Cost Maintenance.
So here system will generate plan using penalty for non delivery in such a way that your total cost is minimum.
You need to assign maximum non delivery cost to you most profitable products, rather products which business wants to produce on priority.
This is not as straightforward, here business people need to provide there inputs based on their KPIs and priorities.
