SOLMAN_SETUP Configuration

Hi,

We are planning to configure Solman_setup in our production system. And we wanted to know whether it will impact the current operations/functionality like CHARM etc.

Hi Dhana,

In Solman_setup, the initial configuration and basis configuration will not affect the existing ChaRM & ITSM scenario.

Required testing in DEV solman before move to PRD solman: as below,

1. Master Note for Change Request Management and ITSM 7.1 SPXX upgrade

Remaining configuration in solman_setup will not affect the exsiting ChaRM and ITSM  scenario

other functionalities like RCA, technical monitoring will may affect when basis configuration run due to infocube activation or extraction rerun, so make sure after initial configuration and basis configuration execution, recheck the configuration.

No, it should not effect CHARM configuration. But to be on safer side, this should be tested first in other systems.
