move stock from IM storage location to WMS

Hello everyone,

I am imlementing a new WMS for spare parts IM storage location. Here I have a question , what would be the best strategy to move existing stock from IM storage location to a newly created WMS warehouse?

I am thinking to create a new IM storage location , then assign this storage location to a new WMS warehouse. After that , move stock from existing IM storage location to new WMS one by one using transfer postings in MIGO. However it seems a lot of manual work. Is there any other easier solutions?

The process you described above is ok. The stock transfer posting can be automated by a simple LSMW development.
